When is Open Enrollment (OEP)?

Can people enroll if they already have health insurance?
Yes! In fact, Catch recommends people review their health plan every year—there might be new plans that offer better coverage for less. But remember, Open Enrollment is the only time of the year that people can actually switch their health insurance plans.
If I stop working for an extended amount of time, will I lose access to my insurance?
No! After you enroll through Catch, as long as you make your monthly premium payments, you’ll keep your health insurance plan.
Does Catch offer Medicare?
No, Catch does not offer Medicare, but if you qualify, Catch will submit your application to your state Medicare office directly on your behalf.
How can Catch help me with my taxes?
Catch helps you set aside for taxes - answer a few basic questions and Catch can tell you how much federal and state tax you’ll owe. Every time you get paid, Catch will set aside the recommended amount. When it comes time to pay quarterly estimated taxes, you can also make a tax payment to the IRS directly from your Tax Withholding plan in Catch.
Can I find insurance for my family through Catch?
Catch offers individual health insurance coverage, which covers people and families.
What happens if I don’t buy insurance?
Health insurance gives you some control over unpredictable costs that come along with your health. No matter how well you take care of yourself, your future health isn’t guaranteed. That means the cost of getting or staying healthy can be hard to predict. Even if you haven’t needed any medical care in the past, that can change from an accidental injury or unexpected illness. Health insurance protects you against these unexpected costs, and gives you the preventative care you need to stay healthy!
