Messaging caregivers on Sittercity is new and improved! Read more about the updates to messaging below:
Caregiver applications will no longer live in your inbox - You can now view and manage all applications you receive from the Jobs tab or by viewing applicants from your dashboard.
Only 6 months of messaging history will be available - Any messages older than six months will no longer be available to view. Have a special request or need assistance with your messaging history? Ask our Customer Success team for help here.
Report a user in your message thread - Need to report a user or scammer? This option is easily accessible from your message thread.
Only parents can start a message thread - You control who you want to talk to! Reply to a sitter’s application or select ‘Message’ from a caregiver’s profile to start the conversation.
Single threads between two users - All messages exchanged between you and a caregiver will stay in the same thread.
