A booking is a request from a Sittercity parent to schedule you to provide care for their family. A booking request will include the name of the parent, the date and time you would be providing care, where the care would take place, and any additional details about the job.
By accepting a booking request, you agree to be scheduled to provide care for the family that has sent you the request.
After your booking has been completed, we'll ask you to verify if you provided care to the family who booked you.
Keep in mind, you will not get paid through the Sittercity site if you accept any booking requests, and the family who books you will become your employer and will be responsible for hiring and paying you. You and the family you're working with should still discuss the care schedule, pay rate and method of payment, and other job details before you meet.
